CLASS DESCRIPTION: Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles & so this class will focus on both the fundamentals & the FUN of classical ballet.  Set to modern music, dancers will explore technique, positions, rhythm & artistry while moving through barre, across the floor & choreography.

BIO: Natalie grew up in New Jersey and started dancing at the age of 3. Throughout her dance career she studied ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary and tap. Being that she also has a sister with Down Syndrome, it felt natural to combine her passion for movement and working with children with disabilities. After high school she was called to pursue a career in Physical Therapy but dance has continued to be a part of her life. In 2020 she caught a DFD virtual performance and it was at that moment she knew she had to be involved. Natalie immediately started to volunteer and later transitioned into a more permanent position — offering technical support for our virtual program. Natalie taught an in-person ballet class up in Los Angeles for DFD this year as we expanded into new territory.  We are thrilled to be able to bring her down to OC for this special event!
